Collection Description

Administrative History

Thomas D. Morgan served as Dean of the Emory University School of Law from 1980-1985. He was preceded by Harold Marquis who served as Acting Dean 1979-1980 and succeeded by David G. Epstein who served 1985-1989. Since 1989, Morgan has held the title of Oppenheim Professor of Antitrust and Trade Regulation Law at the George Washington University Law School.

Scope and Content Note

The collection consists of subject files created during the period of time that Thomas D. Morgan served as Dean of the Emory University School of Law. These records include American Bar Association inspection questionnaires; information regarding various policies and procedures; the proposal for the litigation law program which was instituted in 1985; the Thrower Report [Box 3, folders 8-10]; the Woodruff self-study report; and various other subjects.
