Biographical Note
Theodore (Ted) Edward Davis (1929-2002) was born in Brooklyn, New York. After receiving his master’s degree in history from the University of Virginia in 1964, he was a member of the history faculty at Oxford College of Emory University from 1967 to 1993.
Scope and Content Note
This collection includes handwritten research notes and drafts by Ted Davis, related reference material and correspondence, and student writing on the history of Newton County, GA.
