Scope and Content Note

contains a variety of articles, addresses, and reviews by Runyon. Many of these writings reflect his interest in systemic theology. Other topics of note include Friedrich Gogarten, Carl Michalson, Runyon’s teaching experiences in Africa, and the role of religion in the contemporary world. Two of the articles are in German. This series also includes a manuscript of Hope for the Church: Moltmann in Dialogue with Practical Theology, by Jürgen Moltmann with M. Douglas Meeks et. al. Runyon was the editor and translator of this work, which was published by Abingdon Press in 1979.
