Duplicate and system files have been removed, and files were scanned for personally identifiable information; none were found. Text-based files were migrated to PDF using Adobe Acrobat and image files were migrated to JPG using GIMP. File dates have been changed from the original creation date. Access copies retain original folder titles and file names.

Historical Note
The Bert and Mary Meyer Foundation was established in 1984 by Barbara Meyer in honor of her late parents. The Foundation's mission was to support rural communities in the Southeast working for environmental, social, and economic change. In 1999 the Foundation transferred its assets to its grantee partners, forming the Southern Partners Fund. In March 2010, the Bert and Mary Meyer Foundation was officially dissolved.
