Scope and Content Note

The series consists of the papers of other Bond family members, including Horace Mann Bond's father, James Bond (1863-1929), and his children, James Bond (1944-), Jane (Bond) Moore, and Julian Bond, from circa 1990-1996. Material relating to James, Jane, and Julian includes grades and correspondence relating to their education, as well as unpublished speeches and articles, and a small number of items documenting their political involvement. The series also includes the autobiography of James Bond, and writings by J. Max Bond, Jeffrey Bond, Fred Bond, and Howard Moore, Jr.
