Collection Description
Scope and Content Note
This artificial collection is comprised of bookplates collected by Emory University Library Special Collections (now Rose Library). Bookplates are from Emory University faculty and students as well as various Emory libraries. There are also bookplates from numerous authors and American libraries, as well as from the armed services and foreign institutions. A significant portion of the collection is the collection of Richard D. Cohen, donated to the library in honor of his parents. There are numerous armorial/heraldic plates and plates autographed by their artists in the Cohen collection.
