Confederate photographs
Scope and Content Note
The series contains photographs of people and places relating to the Civil War. The images of places - houses, churches, cemeteries, bridges, statues - were mainly taken by Thomas Spencer from 1940-1960. The remainder of the photographs consist mainly of images of Confederate officers, a few groups, and a couple of Confederate ships.
