Scope and Content Note

Subseries consists of slides collected from outside sources for use by Witness to the Holocaust project staff. Slides illustrate the context of the liberation of concentration camps. Major subjects include European cities; the Jewish ghetto in Warsaw, Poland; United States soldiers during World War II; prisoners of war; Adolf Hitler; and various concentration camps. Related subjects including the Korean War and the travels of the Center for Research in Social Change's director, Fred Roberts Crawford, to Israel and Europe.
