Collection Description
Administrative History
The Alumni Association of Emory University organizes class reunions and other alumni events, disseminates information, raises development funds, and provides a voice to alumni and alumnae in University governance.
Scope and Content Note
The records consist of memorabilia, financial records, and audiovisual recordings created by the Alumni Association. Memorabilia includes booklets, brochures, collected reminiscences, information packets, and other materials produced for class reunions and other alumni events. Most financial records are contained in bound volumes. Audiovisual materials primarily include audio recordings of Alumni Assembly meetings and Alumni Weekend activities but also include photographic slides of Alumni Assembly XVI and video recordings of interviews with Emory Medal winners from 2001. The collection also contains the captured and preserved web site of the Emory Alumni Association available to browse via the Web Archiving Service of the California Digital Library.
