Administrative History

In addition to the University Advisory Council on Teaching, the work of the Commission and its report, “Teaching at Emory,” resulted in the establishment of the University Teaching Fund and the Center for Teaching and Curriculum. In 2009, these assorted teaching resources at Emory were brought together as the Center for Faculty Development and Excellence. The Center provides support, including funding, to Emory faculty for teaching and research.
