Collection Description

Administrative History

The Underrepresented Voices oral history project sought interviews with students who represent members of populations that are not historically documented in institutional archives. The project began interviewing first-generation college students and later expanded to include Black, Latinx, and LGBT+ students. Underrepresented Voices was the first project of the Emory Oral History Program launched in 2017.

Scope and Content Note

This collection contains oral history interviews conducted with Emory undergraduates and graduates who identify as Black, Latinx, LGBT+, or as a first-generation student. The interviews were conducted by staff and students affiliated with the Emory Oral History Program starting in December 2017.
