Biographical Note

The Every Saturday Club, an Atlanta women's discussion group affiliated with the Atlanta Federation of Women's Clubs, was formed to encourage interest in and discussion of a wide variety of topics, one of which would be the topic of each meeting. It originated as a study club in 1894.

Scope and Content Note

The collection consists of records of the Every Saturday Club from 1895-1981. The records include eighty-five programs (1895-1981) which list members, officers, and meeting events and presentations for each meeting. The organization's constitution and by-laws are also included.
