Series 5
Writings by others,
1970-1998
Boxes 50-55
Scope and Content Note
The series contains mostly typescripts of writings by others about Flannery O'Connor from 1970-1998. Many of the typescripts are critical works that were published; some are more informal reminiscences by O'Connor friends and acquaintances. Many of these works were sent to Fitzgerald for review and comment; in some instances the typescripts contain Fitzgerald's edits and/or remarks.
Additional writings by others that include significant correspondence have been retained in Correspondence (Series 1), but cross-references have been provided in this series.
Arrangement Note
Arranged in two sections: about Flannery O'Connor and reminiscences, both arranged in alphabetical order by author.
