Scope and Content Note

The subseries consists of correspondence to and from Hanley's Bell Street Funeral Home from 1931-1997. The correspondence contains letters from suppliers, customers, insurance companies, attorneys, and professional organizations, and includes letters of a financial nature. The subseries also contains correspondence relating to community events and local organizations. Correspondence relating to specific funerals can be found in client files, located in Subseries 1.3: Funeral records.
