Gladys Hanson, actress, was born Gladys Hanson Snook on 5 September 1887, in Atlanta, Georgia, and died 23 February 1973, in Atlanta, Georgia. She acted on the stage (1907-1939) in New York, Chicago, and London in numerous productions, and in five films (1914-1916). In 1916, she married playwright Charles Emerson Cook.
