Biographical Note

Eugenia Flournoy Harper (1883-1986) was an author from Georgia. She is known for her book Beside these Waters: The Story of Warm Springs, Meriwether County, Georgia. She was married to Holcombe Bascombe Harper and the couple had one daughter, Araminta Harper. Araminta married Roy C. DeLamotte in 1949.

The collection consists of the papers of Eugenia Flournoy Harper from circa 1797-1986, including correspondence, clippings, family papers, legal records, scrapbooks and writings by Harper. Materials dating back to 1797 consist of family papers such as original birth and death records collected by Harper while researching her genealogy.
