Scope and Content Note

The series consists of audiovisual materials from 1964-2004 collected by Anthony Hecht including sound recordings and a small number of video recordings. The sound recordings are in chronological order and primarily include recordings of readings, interviews, radio discussions and conference proceedings. All of the sound recordings have been digitized. Of special interest in the series is a video recording in DVD format of the memorial service for Anthony Hecht held at the Guggenheim Museum in New York on January 10, 2005.
