In 2017, the Miscellaneous Collections A-I were discontinued and the contents dispersed among other collections by subject or provenance to improve accessibility. The material in this collection was found in 2019 in a box of Miscellaneous Collection I that had previously been mis-shelved.

Collection Description

Scope and Content Note

The collection consists of the papers of Kina Kanetake of Japan from 1934-1943 and includes correspondence and financial records. Most of the correspondence is addressed to Kina as a shareholder of the Fujiya Bond Company and documents various shareholders meetings. One postcard, dated 1938, is addressed to Kina in care of Kijima Headquarters, Matsuura Squadron, Central China Expeditionary Force.
