Scope and Content Note

The papers consist mainly of correspondence to and from Orrell Keeler Mason from 1866-1889. The correspondence from Orrell is mainly to her sisters, Lucy Keeler Neff and Emma Keeler Mason. During her brief time home, she received letters from fellow missionary Jessie Moore in Assam. The papers also include photographs, writings in Assamese, a paper entitled "Women of Assam" written by Orrell, a biographical publication (1889) by the Woman's Baptist Missionary Society about Orrell Keeler Mason, and some misc. materials.
