Scope and Content Note
The subseries consists of the files of Charlies Harman from 1974-1992, including correspondence, memoranda, and subject files. Harman served as Nunn's Executive Assistant from 1982-1983 and 1985-1987 and as the Administrative Assistant from 1988-1992. Of particular interest are files relating to political issues such as campaigns and a prospective presidential bid by Nunn in 1988.
Harman also served on Nunn's 1984 campaign staff; additional files belonging to Harman can be found in Series 3: United States Senate campaign files.
