Scope and Content Note

Series 4, Family papers, is arranged by family member beginning with Winifred Rogers, maternal grandmother of Loula Kendall Rogers. This order has been derived from the apparent genealogical order. In the case of marriage, those materials related to the spouse are found right after the family member. Materials include biographical information, manuscript writings, financial records, and memorabilia. BV 2 is The Holy Bible which belonged to David Lane Kendall, Sr. BV 3 is a scrapbook of Julia Kendall Lockett containing clippings of poems and other writings.

Restrictions on Access

Box 36 contains those items considered too fragile for research use. These items have been photocopied and the copies have been placed in the proper sequence.
