Collection Description
Biographical Note
Harry Rusche is a Professor Emeritus of English at Emory University. He was educated at the University of Cincinnati before he joined the Emory faculty in 1962. He retired from teaching in 2016. His research and scholarship has focused on Shakespeare, poetry, and computer-assisted instruction.
Scope and Content Note
Collection of 19th and early 20th century trading cards, postcards, and cartes-de-visite collected by Harry Rusche and related to Shakespearean performances. Also included is a small number of letterpress prints produced by Charles Levendosky and Bernard Solomon.
