Series 1
Seluzicki fine press publications, 1976-2011
Boxes 1 - 6, 24 and OP 1 - 17

Scope and Content Note

The series consists of material relating to the fine press edition broadsides and books published by Charles Seluzicki from 1976-2011. Works by authors such as Carl Adamschick, Seamus Heaney, Ted Hughes, Philip Larkin, James Merrill, Charles Simic, W.D. Snodgrass, and Charles Wright are present. Files contain correspondence, proofs, and artists' mockups pertaining to the production and distribution of specific editions. The bulk of correspondence is between Seluzicki and authors, as well as artists, printers, and small presses involved in production. Most files also contain typescripts and manuscripts that the authors sent to Seluzicki; of particular note is a typescript of Seamus Heaney's "Hedge School Sonnets" (later published as "Glanmore Sonnets") and an illustration by Ted Hughes for his work Chiasmodon. Other materials include printed and promotional material relating to authors, artists, and small presses; receipts; and occasionally brief reflective writings by Seluzicki.

Arrangement Note

Arranged in alphabetical order by author.
