Scope and Content Note

Subseries 2.6, Collected Writings of Others, arranged in alphabetically by author, contains manuscripts, typescripts, and published versions of writing by individuals other than Mildred Seydell. Included are two boxes of manuscripts and correspondence from Suzanne Keener, opera singer turned poet, author of Silent Singing (1945), a volume of poetry, published by Seydell. Also included are guest columns and entries to a surrealist word picture contest.
