Scope and Content Note

Series 4, Organizational files documents Mildred Seydell's role as a "clubwoman" and a member of professional organizations such as the Georgia Press Association, National Federation of Press Women, Inc. and National League of American Pen Women. Mildred Seydell was also involved in women's rights as a member of the National Woman's Party. Her picture was featured on the cover of the 14 March 1936 issue of "Equal Rights," the official publication of the National Women's Party. This series is arranged alphabetically by organization name and includes organizational publications, reports, minutes, correspondence, programs, membership lists, and printed material.
