Scope and Content Note

This series contains material related to organizations that Sullivan founded or in which he participated from 1950-2001. The records are primarily related to Sullivan's major endeavors with the International Foundation for Education and Self-Help and the Opportunities Industrialization Centers. Other material in this series relates to Zion Baptist Church, where Sullivan was a pastor, and the Progress Investment Associates, an organization in Philadelphia started by the congregation of Zion Baptist Church.
