Scope and Content Note
This series contains material related to other organizations that Sullivan was involved in or that interested Sullivan. The two major organizations documented in this subseries are Zion Baptist Church (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), where he served as pastor, and the Progress Investment Associates, an organization Sullivan founded to encourage giving by members of his congregations. Material documenting the Progress Investment Associates includes printed reports, financial records, minutes and subject files. Zion Baptist Church materials include bulletins, financial records, and files related to church committees. This subseries also includes individual subject files related to other organizations in which Sullivan participated or supported, including General Motors, where he served on the Board of Directors.
