Scope and Content Note

The series consists of manuscript and printed scores and sheet music of George Walker's musical compositions from 1946-2005, including his Pulitzer Prize-winning composition, "Lilacs for Voice and Orchestra." The series also contains recordings of Walker and others performing his work.
