Scope and Content Note

The series consists of files containing general research materials collected by Bell Wiley. The files consist of materials pertaining to antebellum South, Confederate women; slavery; and soldiers, battles, and other matters relating to the Civil War and includes mainly photocopies and transcripts of original documents and notes he made regarding various books.
