Scope and Content Note

The collection consists of papers of Clark S. Wortley from 1860-1921. The papers include wartime letters generally of a personal nature written to Wortley by his sister and members of his regiment; official Army papers (including many of Wortley's records as quartermaster); and miscellaneous materials (clippings, photographs, printed matter, and a collection of ribbons and rosters associated with veteran's activities of the 20th Michigan Infantry Regiment).
