The collection also includes correspondence, photographs, and memorabilia, relating to J. Willis Hurst's medical care for Lyndon B. Johnson in the 1950s and 1970s, and to the personal relationship between Hurst and the Johnson family. Prominent persons represented in the collection include Lyndon B. Johnson, Lady Bird Johnson, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Jimmy Carter, and Pearl Bailey.
